The staff and governors warmly welcome you and your child to the Somerset Nursery School community.
At Somerset we provide a caring, stimulating and challenging learning environment, building on children’s needs, interests and passions. We strongly believe young children learn through play and so will inspire their learning through a range of rich play experiences indoors and outdoors; we aim to nurture, motivate and inspire children, while challenging them in their learning.
We work in partnership with our families to nurture each child’s well-being and enable them to become a confident, resilient and independent learner. We are an inclusive school of highly committed staff, led by qualified teachers, delivering the very best early years education for our children. Our school has been recognised as Outstanding by Ofsted and provides advice and training to other providers within the borough. We have a long tradition of innovative, creative practice as we strive for excellence in everything we do.
